I discovered just a week ago that my contact form had suddenly stopped working, so I sincerely apologize to anyone who tried reaching me through it over the past few months. Google updated their CAPTCHA, and I completely overlooked the notification in my emails. I asked Aelyn for help in getting a functional form set up; hopefully this one will last much longer. The blog script I am using has also been updated to its newest version, which includes several fixes. Now I can finally run multiple categories, which makes me very happy. Thank you Aelyn for always working so hard to keep all our scripts up to date!

1. Resident Evil: Ada Wong - Game Characters
   The design process itself took longer than expected. I spent quite a bit of time rummaging through my image folders, trying to find something that would inspire me. Then I came across a few nicely rendered versions of Ada and thought, "Why not? It could work." I wasn’t entirely sure what I was going to do with it at first, but after extracting the image and staring at it for a while, I finally started to get the direction. From not knowing what I was going to do to this end result, I have to say, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out in the end! It was one of those moments when something just clicks, even if it took a bit of back-and-forth to get there.

The long-overdue layout change for Caelestis is finally here and getting on to really work on the coding was the main kick-start to actually completing this design. Before you know it, the first theme that got released about 4 years ago went by in a blink of an eye!

The main design wasn't quite the problem. I will admit though, the format is similar to the previous one and that's because I like how each section isn't identical to the other making it unique, so I kept it. With that said, I focused more on the coding aspect and converted from coding tables to DIV. Looking through the source, everything seems more organized and tidy. In addition, many sections to the domain were revamped such as improving my English, removed dead links, reorganized a few sections, so there's still notable changes within the domain. Unfortunately, there aren't new sites released as I plan to focus more on giving old designs that have been stagnant for years with a new facelift. This is to also stay updated with HTML 5 coding so I don't lag behind with my rusty coding.

Moving on to fanlistings, I've closed a couple simply because I'm no longer interested with the subjects. There wasn't anyone via KIM that sent any interests with the subjects either. I will still, however, keep the SQL files associated with the closed subjects.

For the past couple of years, I've been battling spam because the old PHP scripts I've used for contact forms were either outdated or weren't secured enough to stop these bots from spamming me. However, thanks to Aelyn, I think this new form has prevented any spam these past couple months already. Overall, I think it's time I make a new layout, though hardest part will be finding the right image that suits my style. Speaking of layout, I do have a PSD file that I've been working on for my upcoming Aranea Highwind shrine. But no matter how much I look at it, there's still something... missing... Therefore, I cannot go further with trying to work on the main contents until I'm content with the main design itself.
