Eep! I was this close to missing an update for September entirely. Before I knew it, October was only a few hours away! I’ll admit it — I’ve been pretty lazy about keeping everyone updated lately, especially with how sporadic my progress has been. But as promised…

1. Final Fantasy X-2: Paine
   I couldn’t skip this character — she gives me major Lulu vibes! The title comes from her main theme in FFX-2, which translates to “dormant feelings.” This layout was a spontaneous project that ended up taking two full days to finish… and I only wrapped it up today.

In the meantime, I made sure all the essentials were functioning properly (the navigation, codes, forms, and the link back to TFL) before submitting the finished form. The stylesheet, however, is still a work in progress since I shamelessly copied the CSS from my previous Samus fanlisting. I’m such a procrastinator!

My next Strong Women project subject probably won’t come as a surprise, as she’s one of the most iconic female protagonists on my list! Unfortunately, the delays in this project set me back quite a bit, especially when it came to finding official images that met my standards. But after much searching, I’m finally ready to share!

1. Metroid series: Samus Aran
   Denis and Alfonso were generous enough to grant me permission to use their artwork for the Samus Aran fanlisting. I’ve since crafted a stunning new design inspired by their original piece. The base gradients reflect the eerie stillness of "eternal night," complemented by a starry sky to evoke the vastness of space. I’m absolutely thrilled with how it turned out—the attention to detail is flawless, and the colors are simply perfect!

Miscellaneous Updates
This is a bit late, but I want to give a huge thank you to Ainna for sharing her list with me for the Kamiya Kaoru fanlisting. Your help is truly appreciated! I’ve also processed all the clique applications and update forms. As a result, the updates for August are now complete. See you all in September!

I can't believe it's already almost the end of July. Honestly, I felt I haven't done much except process FL and clique applications. I originally intended to have a fanlisting ready for the beginning of July. However, through a series of irritating circumstances and foreseeable future, I've found myself without Photoshop! Hence, I was unable to do anything until I got the problem sorted out.

Strong Women Updates
Before this month ends, I want to announce on starting a new project on FLs regarding strong women. This will mainly apply to fictional characters for either a game or an anime. Unless another subject out of this idea strikes me, I will also include them on the updates.

1. Resident Evil: Jill Valentine
   The first strong female spotlight has to hand down to Jill Valentine, one of the main protagonist to the Resident Evil franchise. Jill's personality is generally pretty serious. She's eager to make a difference and protect people. Despite going through so many horrors in her life, she continues to try to make a difference.

As mentioned, I want to stay true to my words about the unfinished 2024 roadmap. Future content plans will be announced separately in upcoming updates. Stay tuned!
