A thousand apologies for a (very) long absence! I certainly haven't forgotten about this place. Life just seems to have gotten the better of me and it's easy to watch the new year slip by without even realizing it.

For several months, I have been working closely with Aelyn, changing and adding new contents for both the Keyblade and Pokemon clique. Aelyn has modded to enable favorites field to either be a regular text field or a dropdown list. She also has made it more simple to customize how I want to display the members list with "personality" compared to a fanlisting which normally consists only a name, email, URL and country. Due to recent changes to the script, the rules section were slightly updated. I went through 300+ members to do my sporadic link checks and pruned out dead links, links that took me a trip to find the code (and never found them), and links that had decided not to link back to the clique. Although there were a handful I had to unfortunately remove, I've added more new members to the clique, welcome!

From Aelyn's effort in coding to converting to HTML5 semantics, to renaming every sprite files, then adding over 1000+ Pokémon names onto the dropdown field (region forms Galarian, Alola, Hisuian, and Paldean included), she's also donated Pokéballs for the codes section! Thank you so much!

Hope everyone's having a fantastic weekend! Over the past month, I've completed THREE new fanlistings that I got approved for:

1. Digimon Series – Anime: Series
   The Digimon anime is on par with the characters and stories from the Pokémon franchise. Growing up in the late '90s and early 2000s, it was commonly believed that Pokémon had the better games, while Digimon had the better show.
2. Marmalade Boy – Anime: Series
   Although I much prefer the manga version, the anime provides a satisfying conclusion for each character. It was quite popular at the time, with around 75–79 episodes. The OST is full of nostalgic '90s anime drama vibes, and I still love it.
3. Peach Girl – Anime: Series
   I read the manga a long time ago, but I still consider it one of my favorites and believe it deserves a fanlisting. There are certain series that stay with you, and this is definitely one of them!

In addition, I’ve been processing more applications through Pokémon Clique. Lately, I’ve encountered some issues while reviewing the applications. The most common one seems to be coding problems. Please ensure that your site isn't just working for you, but also accessible to everyone else.

This week, I've been focusing more particularly I Choose You!, the Pokémon clique. I'm happy there's a lot of Pokémon fans and also nice to see the clique is thriving! However, although there are many submissions, I'm still unfortunately rejecting a few as well. There are two common problems why applicants are rejected:

1. Code isn't up BEFORE joining
2. It takes forever for me to find the code based on the link-to-code given provided on their application

That said, I revamped and moved the rules when the "Join" navigation is clicked. The link to the actual join form is then placed at the bottom of the rules when the user has read and understood the rules. I've also made the bullet points larger to read. Hopefully I won't have to be rejecting more in the future.

With the rules update also comes with a new layout for the Pokémon clique! I know, I know it's another cute, pastel layout, but I can't help it! I'm not sure how this all happened, but I suppose I've been fixing an old layout that should've been changed a long time ago. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the new look!
